The San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area has over 56,000 acres of land across 40 miles from Sierra Vista to St. David Arizona. 

Protected by Congress  since 1988 the and said to be one of the most important riparian areas in the United States, the river’s stretch is home to more than 100 species of breeding birds, 250 species of migrant and wintering birds, 80 species of mammals,  2 native species and several introduced species of fish, more than 40 species of amphibians and reptiles

The San Pedro Riparian is 6 Miles east of Sierra Vista, Arizona.  From St.David Take Arizona Route 80 E/S to AZ-90 S, Follow AZ-92 E to 4070 S Avenida Saracino, Hereford, AZ 85615
